Backyard Treasure!

An Austrian man found buried treasure in his backyard the other day worth over $150,000! Wow, you can only dream of that happening. The Federal Office for Memorials said the trove consists of more than 200 rings, brooches, ornate belt buckles, gold-plated silver plates and other pieces or fragments, many encrusted with pearls, fossilized coral and other ornaments. It says the objects are about 650 years old and weigh about 6.6 pounds

Earlier this month Baylor picked up a new recruit for the upcoming season named Pierre Jackson. He is the incoming JUCO All-American #1 player in the country. He alongside the other 2 incoming freshmen we have, make our recruiting class this next year among the top 20 in the nation according to ESPN. I can not wait for this upcoming season.

I feel that what he was saying in his speech was really going against what he wanted to “change” during a lot of his statements from his presidential campaign. He said in his speech that we will continue to keep our troops in this other country but I believe that when he was running for president, he wanted all the troops to return home to the United States. I have seen no change with Obama and I just felt that he was taking a lot of credit that George w. Bush should have been credited for.

I say this because I felt like all that Obama was saying during his speech to the world was that “I did this, I did that…”. I feel like he was trying to take a lot of the credit about Osamas death. I feel that it should have been more about what America did instead of what he himself did.

Last night Osama Bin Laden was killed by American troops. This is such a great accomplishment for America and its fight against terrorism. It took ten years but I believe that it shows the entire world that America will not stop until we win and will not let people run over us. I appreciate every single person in our military for doing what they do.
